If you are interested in helping your community and want to join our department, fill out this on-line interest application and click the submit button at the bottom. There are plenty of positions available and many ways to help protect our community. When you become a member of our department, we will train you to be a firefighter, perform CPR and do many other emergency related skills. Teenagers between the ages of 14 and 18 can join as a Junior member and start preparing now for a promising future in the fire service. If you are not interested in fighting fires or responding to calls, we can still use your help with many other tasks that are performed everyday behind the scenes such as administrative duties and fundraising, both of which are equally as important to our organization. Whatever you may interested in, we have a place for you here at the Goodwill Fire Co #1, Jacobus. There are yearly membership dues of $10.00 that are due prior to being voting in as a member of our department. Once your on-line interest application is received, someone will contact you and let you know what the next step is.
