On July 15 Station 18 was host for a tanker shuttle training session. Other attending Departments were, Dallastown - Station 35, Yoe - Station36, Windsor - Station 37 and Loganville - Station 63.
The fill site was the Lake Redman boat launch, with Engine 18-1 serving as the fill engine drafting from the lake. The dump site was at the Spartan Road parking lot for Lake Redman, with two folding tanks set up using Station 35s' transfer device. Engine 35-2 as the supply engine was supplying their deck gun and two Blitzfire ground monitors. With tankers 35, 36, 37, 63 and Engine 18-2 running the shuttle, we were able to maintain an approximate flow of 1200 GPM.

Station 18 personnel along with members of Stations 35, 36, 52, 60 and 61 participated in the PA Fish and Boat Commission Water Rescue and Emergency Response training program. This was a 16 hour class that included a classroom session, a pool session and a moving water session. The class covered planning for a water rescue, medical considerations, rescue equipment, self rescue and shore based rescue techniques.
